Roxane Gay


Roxane Gay is an American writer, professor, editor, and commentator. She is the author of The New York Times best-selling essay collection Bad Feminist, as well as the short story collection Ayiti, the novel An Untamed State, the short story collection Difficult Women, and the memoir Hunger. Her most recent project is a new magazine at Medium called Gay Magazine.

Debbie talks to Roxane about loneliness, social media, and self-exposure. “And it’s terrifying to tell the truth about yourself. To tell the truth about what it’s like to live in your body.”
